We want to add tone without changing where it sits in the space, or filling the mix with noise.
Pre-delay 50-150ms, timed to the tempo of the song.
If no pre-delay parameter, add a delay before the reverb.
Create mono reverbs.
Use Late Reflections rather than Early.
Turn down the width, close to mono.
Shorter delay, timed to song.
Less density.
Abbey Road Reverb to thin high and low end.
Less width: it's just for tone (probably).
Or just use delay. Or add a delay before reverb.
